El precio del WTI gana impulso en torno a los 63.25$ en los primeros compases de la sesión asiática del miércoles. EE.UU. y China recortan las tarifas arancelarias en un 115%, apoyando el precio del WTI. Las reservas de petróleo crudo en EE.UU. aumentaron en 4.287 millones de barriles la semana pasada, según la API. El West Texas Intermediate (WTI), el referente del petróleo crudo de EE.UU., se negocia en torno a los 63.25$ durante las horas de negociación asiáticas del miércoles. El precio del WTI extiende su tendencia alcista en medio de la relajación de las tensiones comerciales entre Estados Unidos (EE.UU.) y China, lo que lleva a los operadores a reducir las probabilidades de una recesión. EE.UU. y China acordaron durante el fin de semana en Suiza recortar las tarifas arancelarias en un 115%. El presidente de EE.UU., Donald Trump, acordó reducir los aranceles adicionales impuestos a las importaciones chinas en abril de este año del 145% al 30%, y los aranceles chinos sobre las importaciones de EE.UU. se reducirán del 125% al 10%. La nueva tarifa arancelaria es efectiva por 90 días.
