El laboratorio de investigación de IA NeoCognition anunció la finalización de una ronda de financiamiento inicial de $40 millones, liderada conjuntamente por Cambium Capital y Walden Catalyst Ventures, con la participación de Vista Equity Partners. Los inversores ángeles incluyen al CEO de Intel, Lip-Bu Tan, y al cofundador de Databricks, Ion Stoica, entre otros.
La empresa tiene su sede en Palo Alto, California, y fue cofundada por el profesor asociado de la Universidad Estatal de Ohio, Yu Su, junto con Xiang Deng y Yu Gu, con el objetivo de mejorar la confiabilidad de los agentes de IA. Su solución es permitir que los agentes construyan "modelos de mundo" de dominio en el uso del mundo real para adaptarse a entornos empresariales específicos, en lugar de depender de modelos preentrenados genéricos. La empresa actualmente está dirigida a clientes empresariales y planea integrar agentes de IA optimizados de manera sostenible en productos SaaS, sin haber lanzado productos públicos aún.
