Según CoinDesk, citando fuentes informadas, Coinbase está colaborando con la plataforma de exchange de criptomoneda Bybit para explorar métodos para la tokenización, custodia y distribución de activo, como stock públicas y previas a la OPI de Estados Unidos.
La fuente informada añadió que los debates (según contexto) en curso no abarcaban ninguna forma de adquisición de capital ni transacciones similares. Los planes de Bybit para entrar en el mercado estadounidense implican una nueva entidad liderada por la ex codirectora ejecutiva Helen Liu, que trabaja con un socio local que proporciona servicios de licencia y cumplimiento cuya identidad no se ha revelado, en lugar de Coinbase.
