Data: Institutional sell-off intensifies, Coinbase premium drops to monthly low
El analista de CryptoQuant, Darkfost, afirmó que, debido a la reciente intensificación de la presión vendedora por parte de las instituciones, la prima de Coinbase ha caído a territorio negativo, registrando un mínimo mensual de -0.0983%. Esto indica que las instituciones y los inversores profesionales que operan en Coinbase Advanced están vendiendo de manera más agresiva que los inversores minoristas en Binance.
El analista Axel Adler señaló que esto indica una confirmación nula de la demanda al contado en EE. UU. El director de investigación de LVRG, Nick Ruck, declaró que la caída en la prima refleja la aparición de una presión vendedora neta por parte de los grandes tenedores, a medida que las instituciones toman ganancias o reajustan sus posiciones.
Además, los datos de CoinGlass muestran que, desde el 14 de mayo, ha habido cuatro días de negociación con salidas netas de los fondos cotizados (ETF) de Bitcoin al contado en EE. UU., totalizando 1.3 mil millones de dólares. Bitfinex informó que esta semana, el interés abierto en futuros o contratos perpetuos de Bitcoin ha disminuido en aproximadamente 1.5 mil millones de dólares, eliminando la mayor parte del apalancamiento.
