El banco digital del Reino Unido Revolut planea buscar una valoración de $150 mil millones a $200 mil millones en su próxima OPI, un aumento significativo respecto a su valoración anterior de $75 mil millones. El CEO de la compañía, Nik Storonsky, también reveló que Revolut se está preparando para una nueva ronda de ventas secundarias de acciones en la segunda mitad de 2026, con una valoración que podría superar los $100 mil millones.
Anteriormente, Nik Storonsky declaró que la cotización de la compañía tomaría al menos otros dos años, posiblemente retrasándose hasta 2028, sin planes de OPI a corto plazo. Él señaló que Revolut se está enfocando actualmente en expandirse en el mercado estadounidense, incluyendo la solicitud de una licencia bancaria para acceder a los canales de pago de la Reserva Federal y expandir su negocio de préstamos y tarjetas de crédito.
