España desmantela un sitio web pirata de cómics, incautando una billetera fría de criptomonedas involucrada con 400,000 euros

Según Cointelegraph, la policía local en España incautó dos criptomoneda carteras frías que contienen aproximadamente 400,000 euros (alrededor de 467,000 dólares) en activos durante una operación contra plataformas de distribución de cómics ilegales.
La operación fue llevada a cabo por la policía de Almería en España, quienes arrestaron a tres sospechosos y desmantelaron lo que se conoce como el sitio web de cómics piratas en español más grande del país. Se informa que la plataforma ha estado proporcionando contenido pirata gratuito desde 2014, obteniendo beneficios principalmente a través de anuncios publicitarios, con ingresos totales que superan los 4 millones de euros en la última década. Cabe destacar que las carteras frías involucradas estaban ocultas dentro de un termómetro en la pared. La policía aún no ha revelado si han obtenido las claves privadas relevantes o el acceso a los fondos.
