در بحبوحه افزایش تنشها بین ایران و ایالات متحده، شبکههای تأمین مالی مرتبط با رژیم ایران از Binance برای ایجاد یک سیستم پرداخت مخفی جهت تأمین مداوم بودجه نیروهای نظامی استفاده کردهاند.
طبق اخبار بازار، این شبکه توسط بابک زنجانی، تاجر ایرانی، اداره میشود که خود را یک فعال «ضد تحریم» معرفی میکند. گزارشهای انطباق داخلی Binance نشان میدهد که تا دسامبر گذشته، این شبکه طی دو سال گذشته حدود ۸۵۰ میلیون دلار تراکنش از طریق Binance انجام داده است که بخش عمده آن در یک حساب واحد متمرکز بوده است.
