شن کانگ (KK)، بنیانگذار Hash Global، در توییتی نوشت که Web3 به عنوان یک صنعت فناوری، نباید منجی داشته باشد و نباید به چهرههای قهرمانگونه متکی باشد.
او معتقد است که خط فکری ویتالیک درست است؛ اتریوم باید مانند بیتکوین، بسیار بیطرف و غیرمتمرکز باقی بماند و هرچه افراد کمتری آن را «مدیریت» کنند، بهتر است. فناوریهای عالی و کاربردی به طور طبیعی رشد خواهند کرد؛ اگر قرار باشد برای بقا به افراد یا گروههای خاصی متکی باشند، پس ارزش وجود ندارند.
KK اشاره کرد که کارآفرینان Web3 ممکن است به راحتی با نزدیک شدن به «کازینو» دچار حواسپرتی شوند، اما این ویژگی این صنعت است و آنها باید بر بهرهگیری از قابلیتهای فناوری برای ایجاد مدلهای کسبوکار جدید تمرکز کنند. در عین حال، خروج مشارکتکنندگان اولیه امری طبیعی است؛ Web3 در نهایت به جای اینکه به طور مستقل وجود داشته باشد، با سایر فناوریها مانند هوش مصنوعی عمیقاً ادغام خواهد شد.
