Presidente della SEC: I mercati finanziari statunitensi pronti alla transizione verso la blockchain

BlockBeats News, 12 dicembre: Questa mattina, il presidente della SEC, Paul Atkins, ha dichiarato che il mercato finanziario statunitense è in procinto di passare alla blockchain. "Sotto la mia guida, la SEC sta dando priorità all'innovazione e sta adottando attivamente nuove tecnologie per realizzare questo futuro on-chain, continuando al contempo a proteggere gli interessi degli investitori". Il mercato on-chain porterà agli investitori maggiore prevedibilità, trasparenza ed efficienza. I partecipanti al DTC possono ora trasferire direttamente titoli tokenizzati ai portafoglio cripto registrati di altri partecipanti, con queste operazioni tracciate nei registri ufficiali del DTC.
Paul Atkins ha menzionato: "Attendo con ansia che la SEC prenda in considerazione una politica di esenzione per l'innovazione, consentendo agli innovatori di sfruttare nuove tecnologie e modelli di business per avviare la transizione del nostro mercato verso la blockchain senza essere vincolati da onerosi requisiti normativi".
Nell'annuncio di questa mattina, la SEC ha approvato che la DTCC possa custodire e validare azioni tokenizzate e asset RWA on-chain.
