BlockSec: Moonwell Protocol Attacked, Leading to Over $1 Million in Losses on Base and Optimism Chains
BlockBeats News, November 4th, According to official sources, BlockSec's system detected a series of suspicious transactions targeting the smart contracts of @MoonwellDeFi deployed on the #Base and #Optimism chains. Analysis indicates that this incident stemmed from issues with the token price (rsETH/ETH) data provided by an off-chain oracle. This vulnerability may have been exploited by MEV bots, resulting in losses exceeding $1 million.
