Mainstream Perp DEX Overview: Weekend Trading Volume Sluggish, with Less than $4 Billion in 24-hour Volume on Each Platform
BlockBeats News, December 22nd, according to DefiLlama data, the 24-hour trading volume of mainstream Perp DEXs has been below $4 billion, with weekend trading volume showing some weakness. Lighter currently ranks first, followed by Aster and EdgeX. In addition, Hyperliquid has a trading volume of only about $2.4 billion, but the open interest in perpetual contracts continues to rise, with existing funds adding leverage.
Lighter has a 24-hour trading volume of about $3.84 billion, a TVL of about $1.41 billion, and open interest of $1.65 billion;

ApeX has a 24-hour trading volume of about $1.61 billion, a TVL of about $46.45 million, and open interest of $175 million;
Backpack has a 24-hour trading volume of about $1.21 billion, TVL is currently not disclosed, and open interest of $2.32 billion;
Variational has a 24-hour trading volume of about $840 million, a TVL of about $66.18 million, and open interest of $4.72 billion;
Pacifica has a 24-hour trading volume of about $639 million, a TVL of about $41.89 million, and open interest of $60 million.
