「On-chain Part-time Shareholder」 Whale Liquidates Long Position in Major Coins, Total Position Reduced by Over $40 Million
BlockBeats News, January 14th, according to HyperInsight monitoring, in the past 1 hour, the "On-chain Part-time Stock Trader" short whale has reduced its 20x leveraged ETH, BTC, and SOL short positions. The combined position size of the three assets has decreased by approximately $3.5 million. As of the time of writing, the closing of positions is still ongoing. Compared to last week, the combined position size of the three assets has decreased from $45.6 million to $14.5 million. The BTC short position has been fully closed.
At the same time, the address is currently continuing to add to its 5x leveraged on-chain Gold (PAXG) short position and XRP short position. The address has now become the largest short of PAXG assets. The current main positions are as follows:
PAXG (On-chain Gold) Short: Position size of approximately $13.2 million, average price of $4525, unrealized loss of approximately $320,000;
XRP Short: Position size of approximately $11 million, average price of $2.088, unrealized loss of approximately $330,000;
ETH Short: Position size of approximately $7.82 million, average price of $3182, unrealized loss of approximately $350,000;
In addition to crypto assets, the address has recently established 18 stock short positions on Hyperliquid, with the larger ones concentrated in individual stocks such as ORCL (Oracle), PLTR (Palantir), and AMZN (Amazon). The total position size of its on-chain stock positions is approximately $4 million. The total position size of the address's account is approximately $50 million.
