Renowned YouTuber MrBeast's Charity Livestream Triggers Meme Coin Rug Pull, Fair3 Community Initiates Fund Airdrop Compensation Plan
BlockBeats News, August 15th, Overseas renowned KOL MrBeast with millions of fans on YouTube today conducted a charity livestream on a streaming platform aimed at providing clean drinking water to remote communities in developing countries. In light of this event, Bags platform released a meme coin of the same name, stating that the token's royalties would be directly donated to this charity event. However, within two hours of the token's release, the market cap surged past $7 million but a rug pull by involved parties caused the token price to plummet to zero.
In response to this, Fair3 announced the launch of the "Technical Fairness Foundation" plan:
• A snapshot will be taken of users holding both Fair3 tokens and MrBeast Meme tokens before 6:45 AM on August 15, 2025 (UTC+8);
• Eligible wallet addresses will receive compensation airdropped by the Fair3 Foundation;
• Airdrop details will be announced soon, so please stay tuned to the Fair3 Community official X account and social channels.
The Fair3 Community Team stated: "Technology and narrative should not be a project's fig leaf, and even less should they be the scythe harvesting users. Fair3 will continue to promote Web3 fairness, return to technical fairness, and ensure fairness in the blockchain economy (commonly known as meme coins)." The Fair3 Community, initiated by Wang Xin, founder of Kuaibo, and his technical team, has received funding and support from Unicorn Verse founder Ann. It is committed to launching a true decentralized movement, leveraging blockchain technology to achieve real fairness at the "technical," "social," and "opportunity" levels.
