BlockBeats News, July 16, Pantera Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Pantera") announced that its Pantera Bitcoin ETF (02818.HK) will officially debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 18, becoming the first Bitcoin ETF approved for listing in Hong Kong this year. The launch of this product provides a convenient new channel for local investors to participate in the Bitcoin market.
The Pantera Bitcoin ETF (02818.HK) is designed to closely track the price performance of Bitcoin. Hong Kong investors can trade and invest through their existing securities accounts by choosing between cash or creation/redemption in-kind. The fund's performance benchmark is anchored to the CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate (Asia Pacific Close), aiming to achieve an investment return highly correlated with the value of Bitcoin before deducting relevant fees, helping investors efficiently gain direct exposure to the Bitcoin market.
As an asset manager with both Web3 and venture capital DNA, Pantera has obtained licenses from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for Type 1, Type 4, and Type 9 regulated activities, fully qualifying to provide digital asset-related services in compliance.
