Viewpoint: The final vote time for the US Senate Republican spending bill is still unclear, while the House of Representatives is planning to address the bill on Wednesday
BlockBeats News, November 10th, Fox News congressional correspondent Chad Pergram said that the final Senate vote time is still uncertain, and the House plans to deal with the bill on Wednesday. We do not expect the Senate to take a final vote on the new version of the Republican spending bill tonight. The final passage of the bill requires a time agreement within the Senate to expedite the process. Fox News has learned that the Senate may reach an agreement as early as tomorrow and proceed to a vote.
The bill only requires a simple majority vote in the Senate. Frankly, considering the situation in the Senate tonight, the final vote may not have much suspense.
Next, the bill will go to the House. A senior House GOP official said the plan is to have the House reconvene on Wednesday and vote and adjourn within a day—assuming no unexpected developments.
