Whale Trader "pension-usdt.eth" Increases ETH Short Position to $63 Million
BlockBeats News, January 5th, according to OnchainLens monitoring, a whale identified as "pension-usdt.eth" has increased its ETH short position to $63 million, with an opening price of $3136 and a liquidation price of $4545. The address had significantly reduced its ETH short position and exited the market in a large scale the previous week. Based on its holding trend over the past few months, the position size this time may still exceed $80 million.
According to monitoring, the whale has made profits of up to about $1 million through swing trading on Hyperliquid in the past 30 days. Its strategy focuses on low leverage, short cycles (with an average holding period of about 23 hours), mainly trading BTC and ETH. Since October, the cumulative profit has exceeded $21 million. The address has recently continued to transfer its substantial profits accumulated on Hyperliquid to the yield market. Currently, its total lending amount on AAVE has reached about $26.71 million.
