Japão anuncia plano de reforma tributária para criptomoedas, propondo sistema de tributação separada

Em 19 de dezembro, o Partido Liberal Democrata do Japão e o Partido da Inovação do Japão anunciaram o esboço da revisão do sistema tributário para o ano fiscal Reiwa 8, propondo posicionar a criptomoeda como um produto financeiro que contribui para a formação de ativos nacionais e planejando introduzir um sistema de tributação separada.
De acordo com o plano, o trading spot, o trading de futuros e ETFs de criptomoeda serão incluídos no escopo da tributação separada, e as perdas de negociação poderão ser compensadas por três anos para dedução, alinhando o sistema tributário com outros produtos financeiros, como ações. Vale ressaltar que este plano de reforma não cobre todas as transações de criptomoedas, e transações que geram renda, como staking e empréstimos, podem continuar sujeitas ao sistema tributário atual.
Ao mesmo tempo, os NFT não foram claramente incluídos no escopo da reforma e podem continuar sujeitos à tributação abrangente como renda diversa. As exchange de criptomoedas enviarão relatórios de transações dos usuários às autoridades fiscais, e os investidores enfrentarão requisitos mais elevados de conformidade fiscal no futuro.
