Trump Mobile exposed for serious user data leak
Según TechCrunch, se ha informado de una brecha de datos de usuarios en Trump Mobile que incluye información personal como direcciones de correo electrónico y direcciones postales de los clientes, la cual sigue siendo accesible en línea.
Los creadores de YouTube Coffeezilla y penguinz0 declararon que, tras pedir el teléfono Trump Gold T1, recibieron alertas de investigadores de seguridad indicando que su información personal había aparecido en el conjunto de datos filtrados. Coffeezilla mencionó que el contenido filtrado cubría casi toda la información de identidad básica, a excepción de los números de tarjeta de crédito, y advirtió a los usuarios que no realizaran pedidos en la plataforma. Ambos indicaron que los datos filtrados probablemente provenían de sistemas accesibles al público, y que aún no han recibido una respuesta oficial ni una solución por parte de Trump Mobile, por lo que los problemas siguen sin resolverse.
Basándose en los números de pedido en los datos filtrados, se estima que el número real de reservas es de unas 30.000 unidades, muy por debajo de la escala de preventa prevista anteriormente de unas 590.000. Los analistas consideran que este incidente aumenta aún más las dudas sobre la entrega de productos y las capacidades básicas de seguridad de Trump Mobile.
