BlockBeats News, le 10 novembre, la Banque d’Angleterre a proposé que parmi les actifs soutenant les stablecoins, 60% puissent être détenus en obligations d’État britanniques à court terme, et au moins 40% doivent être déposés auprès de la Banque d’Angleterre.
La Banque d'Angleterre a proposé un plafond de 20 000 livres pour les avoirs individuels en stablecoins et une limite de 10 millions de livres pour les avoirs en stablecoins des entreprises. Les Stablecoins qui sortent du régime réglementaire de la Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) du Royaume-Uni peuvent voir jusqu’à 95 % de leurs actifs de réserve investis dans des obligations d’État à court terme.
