BlockBeats News, le 11 novembre, le secrétaire américain au Trésor Scott Bessent a tweeté que le département du Trésor et IRSnews ont publié de nouvelles directives visant à fournir un soutien réglementaire pour les ETP crypto avec fonctionnalité de jalonnement.
Les lignes directrices clarifient le traitement fiscal des récompenses de jalonnement au sein de la structure des ETP, offrant une « voie explicite » aux sociétés de gestion d'actifs qui cherchent à offrir une exposition aux rendements des actifs numériques. La nouvelle politique précise que les récompenses générées par les mises en jeu au sein de la structure des ETP ne déclencheront pas immédiatement une obligation fiscale directe pour les investisseurs individuels, ce qui résoudra les incertitudes de longue date entourant les cryptomonnaies prouvant l'enjeu dans les véhicules de placement réglementés.
