Chainalysis: Tax evaders are starting to use Bitcoin Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens to hide their wealth

Secondo un rapporto della piattaforma di analisi blockchain Chainalysis, il comando provinciale della Guardia di Finanza di Foggia ha recentemente scoperto un caso di evasione fiscale. I soggetti coinvolti sono sospettati di aver utilizzato il Bitcoin Ordinals protocol e lo standard di token BRC-20 per creare e rivendere token, occultando on-chain circa 1,1 milioni di dollari (1 milione di euro) di plusvalenze, con i profitti continuamente reinvestiti in nuove operazioni di iscrizione.

Chainalysis ha sottolineato che, sebbene tali mezzi tecnologici emergenti possano sembrare occulti, l'intrinseca trasparenza della blockchain lascia una traccia permanente e immutabile delle transazioni. L'intelligence blockchain può contrastare efficacemente l'evasione fiscale ricostruendo le reti finanziarie e incrociando i dati delle dichiarazioni degli exchange.
