Lighter ha raggiunto una cooperazione strategica con Circle, designando USDC come la stablecoin preferita e predefinita per l'intera linea di prodotti, con un'integrazione che copre il trading spot e di contratti perpetui, il regolamento, la compensazione e i processi di onboarding degli utenti.
Circle ha dichiarato martedì su X che, con l'espansione dei mercati on-chain, un'infrastruttura in dollari affidabile sta diventando un elemento centrale del mercato. Lighter ha risposto che USDC è stata l'asset fondamentale per il protocollo e i suoi trader sin dal lancio. Questa collaborazione arriva mentre Lighter cerca di recuperare slancio sul mercato dopo il token generation event dello scorso dicembre, durante il quale ha brevemente guidato il volume di trading dei DEX di contratti perpetui nei mesi di novembre e dicembre, per poi essere superata da Hyperliquid, Aster ed EdgeX.
Secondo i dati di DefiLlama, Lighter si classifica attualmente al quarto posto con un volume di trading di contratti perpetui a 7 giorni di circa 8,7 miliardi di dollari.
