Delphi Digital: Volume di finanziamento GameFi in calo di oltre il 55% annuo entro il 2025, Web2.5 Games emerge come nuovo vettore di crescita
BlockBeats News, 30 dicembre, Delphi Digital ha pubblicato un post in cui afferma che "il 2025 è stato un anno difficile per GameFi. La scala di finanziamento complessiva è diminuita di oltre il 55% anno su anno, alcuni lanci di progetti molto attesi non hanno soddisfatto le aspettative e l'entusiasmo del mercato si è raffreddato in modo significativo. Ma guardando a più lungo termine, la situazione generale è più complessa.
Stiamo assistendo all'ascesa furtiva dei giochi Web2.5. Questi giochi vedono la blockchain come un puro strato di infrastruttura, spesso saltando del tutto il design dei token e competendo invece su entrate reali ed esperienza del prodotto. Studi come Fumb Games, Mythical Games e Wemade / Wemix continuano a creare entrate sostanziali sfruttando la blockchain a modo loro: la blockchain li aiuta a migliorare i margini di profitto, migliorare il coinvolgimento degli utenti o introdurre nuovi canali di monetizzazione.
Al contrario, anche i giochi nativi Web3 hanno generato entrate a livello di milioni di dollari (6-7 cifre) quest'anno, ma la base di giocatori rimane piccola e in gran parte composta da bots. Una volta prosciugati i meccanismi di incentivazione, il divertimento del gioco spesso si dissipa, anche se alcuni team stanno provando nuovi meccanismi per affrontare questo problema.
Gli studi Web2.5 possono ora sfruttare appieno i vantaggi apportati dalla blockchain senza forzare la partecipazione degli utenti alla speculazione o trovare scuse per una rigida esperienza utente. Con l’ulteriore diffusione delle stablecoin, questa tendenza accelererà. Microtransazioni, canali di pagamento globali e meccanismi di ricompensa basati sul coinvolgimento degli utenti diventeranno più convenienti".
