BlockBeats News, il 30 dicembre, secondo The Block, Neel Somani, fondatore del protocollo Eclipse di Ethereum L2, si è dimesso dalla carica di Presidente del Consiglio nell'ottobre 2025. Somani ha dichiarato che questa mossa era quella di concentrarsi a tempo pieno sull'apprendimento automatico e su altre ricerche sull'IA.
Somani ha fondato l'azienda nel 2022, ha raccolto 15 milioni di dollari in finanziamenti seed per costruire una soluzione di scalabilità utilizzando la Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), quindi ha puntato alla costruzione di un Ethereum L2 ad alte prestazioni nel 2023. Dopo aver completato un round di finanziamento di Serie A da 50 milioni di dollari nel 2024, Somani è passato da CEO a Presidente del Consiglio. Questa transizione, guidata dal fondatore e pianificata in anticipo, non ha comportato modifiche al suo patrimonio netto o ai poteri del consiglio.
