BlockBeats News, 2 gennaio, secondo The Block, i dati mostrano che la media mobile a 7 giorni delle transazioni di rete giornaliere Ethereum ha raggiunto 1,87 milioni il 31 dicembre, toccando un massimo storico. Questo ha superato il precedente record di 1,61 milioni di transazioni durante il picco di boom NFT e DeFi il 10 maggio 2021, ed è stato superiore al recente picco di 1,73 milioni di transazioni registrato il 9 agosto 2025.

Anche il numero di indirizzi attivi sulla rete di Ethereum ha toccato un massimo di fase a fine anno, raggiungendo quota 728.904, il livello più alto dal 12 maggio 2021. Inoltre, il numero di nuovi indirizzi al 31 dicembre ha raggiunto 270.160, segnando il più grande aumento di un solo giorno dall'inizio del 2018.

Nick Ruck, direttore della ricerca di LVRG, ha dichiarato che la recente impennata dell'attività on-chain è stata principalmente guidata dagli aggiornamenti della rete, che hanno ridotto significativamente le commissioni di transazione, migliorato la scalabilità e attirato una maggiore partecipazione istituzionale attraverso ETF e Real World Asset (RWA) tokenizzazione.
