BlockBeats News, 2 gennaio. Secondo Wen Wei Po, la polizia di Hong Kong ha accusato temporaneamente 16 persone in un caso di frode JPEX di scambio di criptovalute. Uno degli imputati, la celebrità di internet "Master Ju", è accusato di riciclaggio di denaro. Il caso è stato riesaminato oggi (2 °) presso il tribunale distrettuale orientale. L'accusa ha modificato l'accusa originale di riciclaggio di denaro e ha aggiunto altre 3 accuse di riciclaggio di denaro, con l'importo coinvolto nel riciclaggio di denaro superiore a 18 milioni di RMB.
È stato riferito che tra il 25 novembre 2020 e il 30 agosto 2023 ha elaborato un totale di oltre 18,8 milioni di dollari di Hong Kong attraverso i suoi conti presso Chong An Bank, Mox Bank, Smart Bank e Huali Bank.
