BlockBeats News, 12 gennaio: La Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) dell'India ha emesso nuove linee guida che inaspriscono le regole di registrazione per le piattaforme di criptovalute. Le nuove regole impongono agli exchange di criptovalute regolamentati di verificare l'identità dell'utente tramite selfie in tempo reale e geotagging. Le foto dei selfie in tempo reale possono tracciare i movimenti degli occhi e della testa degli utenti per evitare di aggirare i processi di verifica KYC utilizzando la tecnologia deepfake basata su IA.
Inoltre, gli exchange indiani sono tenuti a raccogliere geotag, indirizzi IP e timestamp della creazione dell'account durante l'onboarding. Gli utenti sono ora tenuti a inviare un documento d'identità con foto aggiuntivo rilasciato dal governo all'exchange, nonché a convalidare la propria email e il numero di telefono, per creare un account su un exchange di criptovalute.
