BlockBeats News, 7 febbraio, un team di sviluppo indipendente guidato dal fondatore di Zcash (ZEC), Zooko, Shielded Labs, ha annunciato di aver ricevuto una donazione da Vitalik Buterin, con l'obiettivo di supportare lo sviluppo di Crosslink.
Secondo quanto riferito, Crosslink migliora il meccanismo di consenso Proof of Work (PoW) esistente di Zcash aggiungendo un livello di finalità parallelo per prevenire riorganizzazioni della catena e attacchi di rollback. Tutta la generazione di blocchi e l'attività economica avvengono ancora sulla catena PoW, mentre il meccanismo di finalità ancora i blocchi e fornisce garanzie di regolamento più forti. Assicurando che le transazioni confermate siano irreversibili, Crosslink riduce i rischi di doppia spesa e migliora l'affidabilità del regolamento delle transazioni.
Nel commentare la donazione, Vitalik ha dichiarato: "Zcash è uno dei progetti di criptovaluta più affidabili, sempre aderente alla privacy al suo centro.
