BTC/ETH/SOL/WXT Staking on WEEX: How Much Extra APR Can You Earn?
WEEX’s October staking promotion offers APR boosts of +30%, +50%, or +100% for eligible BTC, ETH, SOL, and WXT staking. The tier you qualify for depends on your net staking amount during the event, with a separate cap on the amount that can receive the boost.
The WEEX Staking APR Boost event runs from October 8, 2026, at 19:00 to October 21, 2026, at 18:59:59 (UTC+8). Below is a breakdown of the reward tiers, participation requirements, and what the advertised extra APR means for your staking rewards.
How Does the WEEX Staking APR Boost Work?
The promotion has three reward tiers: Basic, Advanced, and Ultimate. Each tier has a minimum net staking requirement for each eligible asset.
Meeting a threshold qualifies you for the corresponding APR boost, but two figures matter:
- Net staking requirement: The amount needed to qualify for a reward tier.
- Boosted amount cap: The maximum amount eligible for that tier’s additional APR.
These amounts are not always the same. Reaching the highest tier does not mean your entire staking balance receives the highest boost.
For each asset, users can receive only the highest eligible reward tier. Rewards from different tiers cannot be combined.
BTC/ETH/SOL/WXT Staking: Reward Tiers and Limits
The event lists the following requirements and boosted amount caps:
Tier | Extra APR | Asset | Minimum Net Staking Amount | Boosted Amount Cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic | +30% | BTC | 0.001 BTC | 0.003 BTC |
Basic | +30% | ETH | 0.05 ETH | 0.1 ETH |
Basic | +30% | SOL | 1 SOL | 3 SOL |
Basic | +30% | WXT | 5,000 WXT | 15,000 WXT |
Advanced | +50% | BTC | 0.01 BTC | 0.01 BTC |
Advanced | +50% | ETH | 0.5 ETH | 0.5 ETH |
Advanced | +50% | SOL | 10 SOL | 10 SOL |
Advanced | +50% | WXT | 50,000 WXT | 50,000 WXT |
Ultimate | +100% | BTC | 0.05 BTC | 0.02 BTC |
Ultimate | +100% | ETH | 2 ETH | 1 ETH |
Ultimate | +100% | SOL | 50 SOL | 20 SOL |
Ultimate | +100% | WXT | 200,000 WXT | 100,000 WXT |
For example, the Ultimate BTC tier requires at least 0.05 BTC in net staking, while its +100% APR boost applies to a maximum of 0.02 BTC. Similarly, the Ultimate SOL tier requires 50 SOL, with a boosted amount cap of 20 SOL.
The cap is a ceiling, not an additional allocation of tokens. Your actual eligible staking amount and the reward’s applicable terms determine how much receives the boost.
Does +100% APR Mean a 100% Return During the Event?
No. APR is an annualized rate, so a +100% APR boost does not mean your assets double during the promotion.
Actual extra rewards depend on the eligible amount, the applicable boost rate, and the period over which the boost accrues. The advertised boost should also be distinguished from the staking product’s base APR.
The event states that APR boosts are fixed-term and valid for 14 days after issuance, with unused boosts expiring afterward. This validity window should not automatically be interpreted as 14 days of interest accrual. Check the issued reward and product terms for activation and calculation details.
When comparing tiers, consider both the additional APR and the boosted amount cap rather than the headline percentage alone.

How to Participate in the WEEX Staking Event
1. Create or Sign In to Your WEEX Account
If you are new to the platform, you can register for a WEEX account before reviewing the event and available staking products.
WEEX was founded in 2018 and describes itself as a global cryptocurrency exchange serving more than 10 million users across over 150 countries and regions. Its services include spot and futures trading, copy trading, APIs, TradFi, and AI trading tools.
The platform also publishes WEEX Proof of Reserves information and lists a 1,000 BTC protection fund as part of its transparency and user protection measures. These measures do not eliminate staking or market risk.
2. Register for the Event Before Staking
Open the WEEX BTC/ETH/SOL/WXT staking promotion and select “Sign Up.”
Account registration and event registration are separate steps. Only staking activity after event registration counts toward this promotion.
3. Review the Eligible Staking Products
Visit WEEX Staking to review available products and their terms. Before participating, check the asset, base APR, subscription requirements, redemption conditions, and any product-specific restrictions.
The promotion concerns eligible staking activity. A spot purchase or futures position alone does not satisfy the stated net staking requirement.
4. Check Your Net Staking Amount and Reward Tier
Review your eligible net staking amount against the table above.
The event rules explicitly define WXT net staking as WXT staked during the event minus WXT redeemed during the event. For BTC, ETH, and SOL, check the activity page’s asset-specific calculation or confirm with support if the calculation is unclear.
5. Review Reward Distribution and Expiry
According to the event rules, rewards will be credited within three working days after the event ends. Once issued, review the boost’s validity, applicable amount, and usage conditions before it expires.
FAQ
1. Which assets qualify for the promotion?
The event covers BTC, ETH, SOL, and WXT, with separate net staking thresholds and boosted amount caps for each asset.
2. Can I combine +30%, +50%, and +100% APR boosts?
No. Each asset receives only its highest eligible reward tier. The three tiers do not stack.
3. Does staking before event registration count?
No. The event rules state that only staking activity after registration counts.
4. Does the highest APR boost apply to my entire balance?
No. Each tier has a boosted amount cap. For example, the Ultimate ETH tier requires at least 2 ETH in net staking, but its +100% APR boost is capped at 1 ETH.
5. Where can I check the full terms?
The official WEEX Staking APR Boost event page contains the participation rules and reward requirements. Users should also review the relevant staking product terms for reward calculations and redemption conditions.
