Meta Muse Surpasses 5 Million Downloads in Just 22 Days Since Launch

Meta's AI agent Muse has recorded 5 million downloads just 22 days after its launch. This is faster than ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude. Muse was launched on the 8th and is currently available only in the United States and Canada. ChatGPT took 56 days to reach 5 million downloads, Grok took 103 days, and Claude took 492 days. Muse has ranked first in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. However, Disney+, HBO Max, Threads, Candy Crush, Pokémon Go, and Fortnite also surpassed 5 million downloads within the same period. Muse is an AI agent aimed at general consumers, providing an avatar that users can customize and a simple user interface. Meta is focusing on advertising for Muse, with 50% of ad exposure occurring from the 14th to the 27th. Muse is available for free download, and there are plans to charge a small commission on future product sales. OpenAI is also entering the AI agent market, having launched a platform called Dots that features customizable avatars.
