Recently, the Web3 asset data platform RootData officially launched the "Project Information Management System" aimed at official project teams, supporting the use of official email to "claim" project homepages, allowing for full-process operations such as information editing and updates in the information management backend, thereby maintaining project information in a timely and accurate manner.

This means that once the project team successfully claims their project, their information can be synchronized through RootData's API network to over 200 partners, including Binance Wallet, Gate, Token Pocket, CoinGlass, and the Ethereum Foundation, covering core ecological scenarios such as trading platforms, wallets, security agencies, and public chains.

This is another key layout by RootData in the field of transparent infrastructure following the launch of the industry's first "Real-time Exchange Transparency Ranking" in December 2025 and the initiation of the token unlocking bounty program.

If the exchange rankings define the assessment criteria for transparency, and the token unlocking bounty solidifies the cornerstone of key data, then the launch of the Project Information Management System marks RootData's transition from "we collect data" to "co-constructing data with project teams." We are promoting the industry's information disclosure from "passive collection" to "active management," moving from one-way output to two-way co-construction.

RootData's vision has always been clear: to promote the transparency and standardization of project information disclosure in the crypto industry, advocating "trust through disclosure," allowing information to be clear from the source, enabling projects that truly value long-term value to be seen, understood, and trusted by the market.

The Cornerstone of Trust: RootData has Become the Core Information Source in the Industry

Transparency is not an isolated declaration; it needs to be seen, used, and verified.

Recently, Binance Wallet announced a deep integration of RootData data, allowing users to view key information such as project introductions, financing, team members, and calendars directly on the Binance Wallet page, thereby gaining a clearer and more accurate understanding of the project background when investing, reducing information barriers and noise.

This collaboration is not an isolated case. As of now, the cumulative partners of RootData API have exceeded 200, covering core participants from various ecological sectors:

  • Trading platforms and wallets: Binance Wallet, OKX Wallet, Gate, Token Pocket, etc.

  • Ecological foundations: Ethereum Foundation, etc.

  • Security agencies: CertiK, etc.

  • Financial institutions and funds: Amber Group, CMT Digital, etc.

  • Media and communities: Blockworks, TechFlow, BlockBeats, Mask Network, etc.

These partners cover numerous scenarios from trading, security, research to investment, making RootData an important information channel for projects to enter mainstream visibility and reach core trading platforms and institutional investors.

This means that the completeness and accuracy of project information on RootData directly affect how it is seen by the industry, thereby influencing its opportunities to reach investors, partners, and trading platforms.

A New Paradigm: From "Passive Collection" to "Active Management"

In the past, project information was scattered across various websites, social media, and third-party platforms, leading to outdated and unverifiable information. For a long time, the RootData data team has invested significant effort in cross-verifying data through smart tools and manual reviews to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data collection.

However, with the explosive growth of industry projects and the increasingly large database, we realized that only by inviting project teams to participate in co-construction from the source can we achieve more efficient and sustainable information maintenance.

Therefore, the official launch of the RootData Project Information Management System establishes an official communication channel for project teams, allowing information to be clear from the source.

Core Functions

1. Project Claim: Obtain Official Identity Mark

Official project teams can apply for free to claim their project on the RootData platform. Once account verification is successful, the project detail page will light up the exclusive "Project Claim" badge, becoming an authoritative identifier of the project's official identity.

Claim applications must verify identity through official email, private messages from the official X account, administrator permissions from the official website, and other materials to ensure that only the genuine project team can manage the information.

2. Information Management Backend: Real-time Maintenance of Core Data

Once the claim is successful, project teams can submit information updates and correction requests through the Project Information Management Backend. This includes:

  • Token economics: token distribution, unlocking plans, etc.;

  • Investor and financing information: financing rounds, amounts, investors;

  • Team members: backgrounds and information of core members;

  • Calendar events: TGE, mainnet launch, major collaborations, etc.;

  • Official updates: project progress and announcements.

All information must be submitted with corresponding supporting materials, and the RootData data team will prioritize the review of information update requests based on this. This means that project teams can promptly correct erroneous information, supplement missing data, and publish official updates, ensuring that the information on the project homepage is always accurate, timely, and authoritative.

The Value of Transparency: Active Management of Information Becomes a Consensus Among Quality Projects

On the RootData platform, information disclosure is not an empty slogan but a quantifiable assessment mechanism.

RootData has a built-in "Transparency Score" system, which serves as an important indicator for measuring the completeness of project information disclosure. This score comprehensively evaluates various dimensions such as token economics, team background, financing information, and calendar events, making the project's transparency performance clear at a glance.

Data shows that actively managing information has gradually become a consensus among quality projects. After the launch of the transparency scoring system, several popular projects, including Chainlink, USD.ai, Cysic, and pieverse, have claimed and improved their data within the first week of release, with transparency scores quickly rising to grade A, and the cumulative number of claimed projects exceeding 150.

This marks that active management of the "information image" on major data platforms in the industry, enhancing project information transparency, has become a standard practice for quality projects.

For project teams, this creates a positive value cycle:

This is precisely the "trust through disclosure" mechanism we advocate, making transparency no longer a cost for projects but a core asset for long-termists.

Invitation for Co-construction: Let Information Be Clear from the Source

Transparent infrastructure is not built in a day, nor is it the effort of one entity. The RootData Project Information Management System is officially launched today, and we sincerely invite all project teams that value long-term value to join this co-construction.

  • If you are the official team of a listed project: You are welcome to claim your project immediately, start active management, and light up the official identifier.

  • If your project has not yet been included in RootData: You are welcome to first submit a project inclusion application, and then complete the claim and management.

  • If you are a trading platform, investment institution, or community member: You are welcome to apply RootData's data services to your scenarios and recommend cooperative projects to participate in the claim.

How to Claim a Project?

  1. In "Claim Project," enter the project name to search for the project you want to apply for. After selecting the project, it will automatically match the RootData project homepage link.

  1. If you cannot match the project, please confirm again whether the project has been included in the RootData platform. If your project has not yet been included in RootData, please first submit a project inclusion application.

  2. The email account used to claim the project will serve as the official account for managing project information, so please use a work email bound to your RootData account for the application. The email domain should match the project name; for example, if the project name is "RootData," a sample work email would be: "[email protected]."

  3. If you have direct contact with a RootData team member, please fill in the corresponding RootData member's contact information to expedite the review.

  4. If you do not have an official email and cannot verify your identity through a RootData member, please submit as many "other supporting materials" as possible to help us verify your information. We accept the following materials:

  • Link to the official X account of the project: the official X account of the claimed project, for example: @RootDataCrypto

  • Screenshot of a private message declaration from the official X account: use the official X account of the project to send a private message to @RootDataCrypto, indicating consent to use the specified email account to manage project information on the RootData platform. Example declaration content: We are the [project name] team, and we authorize the email [email address] to manage our project information on RootData.

  • Proof of administrator permissions for the official website.

  • Proof of domain ownership.

  • Other materials that can prove project ownership.

  1. The RootData team will process the claim application within 3-5 working days, and the review results will be sent via email to the account email bound to the application.

Conclusion

Since its establishment in 2022, RootData has been committed to industry transparency and data standardization, having accumulated approximately 20,000 projects, 10,000 financing records, and over 2 million users, becoming one of the most credible and influential crypto data platforms in the industry.

From exchange rankings to token unlocking bounties, and now to the Project Information Management System, RootData has always been at the forefront of transparent infrastructure. We look forward to working alongside more project teams, trading platforms, and community members to turn "trust through disclosure" from a concept into reality, jointly building the most solid and verifiable trust cornerstone for the next generation of the crypto ecosystem.

On this journey, RootData is willing to be a steadfast companion and co-builder.
