Trump Threatens to Strike Iran's Fordow Nuclear Facility
U.S. President Donald Trump stated at the Republican midterm election rally that the U.S. may strike Iran's Fordow nuclear facility, warning Iran not to play tricks, claiming that the U.S. would hit them hard. Trump had previously issued similar threats multiple times in July but has yet to take action. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi responded by stating that there are no nuclear activities at Fordow, and that U.S. concern over the facility is merely an excuse for aggression and destruction. Fordow, located near the Natanz nuclear facility in Isfahan province in central Iran, is considered one of Iran's most fortified underground nuclear sites.
