Vitalik Praises Nethermind's Efficiency Boost, Beacon Chain Plugin Synchronized
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin retweeted Nethermind's development progress, praising its enhancement of Ethereum's efficiency and speed. Nethermind core developer Ben Adams stated that the Beacon Chain plugin has completed synchronization and is ready for the Glamsterdam fork on Sepolia. Meanwhile, the Ethereum Execution Layer (EL) and Consensus Layer (CL) are running as a single application without significant additional memory overhead. The Ethereum Foundation confirmed that Glamsterdam will be activated on Sepolia on October 6, and Nethermind 2.1.0 has supported this upgrade.
