Yuga Labs VP Urges Revocation of PPV2 Authorization to Prevent Attack Risks

The vulnerability attack on Payment Processor V2 (PPV2) is still ongoing. Users, even if not affected by the incident on September 25, face risks to their assets if they do not revoke the relevant authorizations. It is recommended to revoke the authorization immediately. About an hour ago, a certain address lost 0.15246 WETH in the next block after accepting an offer and receiving funds. The attacker paid 99% of this amount as a tip to Titan Builder, retaining only about 0.0015 ETH, which is nearly impossible to recover through front-running transactions. Quit suggests that OpenSea should check risk authorizations before users accept offers and require users to revoke them beforehand; when transferring NFTs, it is also advisable to check whether the receiving address has any relevant authorizations left.
