По данным CoinDesk, более 100 американских криптовалютных компаний и отраслевых организаций направили письмо в Банковский комитет Сената, призвав продвигать законопроект «Clarity Act» с целью создания федеральной нормативной базы для рынка цифровых активов. Среди подписавшихся компаний — Coinbase, Ripple, Kraken, Andreessen Horowitz, Paradigm, Consensys и другие.
Среди их основных требований — уточнение границ регулирования между SEC и CFTC, защита разработчиков некастодиальных инструментов, упрощение правил раскрытия информации, а также предотвращение разрозненности нормативных стандартов в разных штатах. Подписавшиеся заявили, что если в США по-прежнему не будет комплексной системы регулирования криптовалют, инвестиции, рабочие места и деятельность в сфере развития могут переместиться за рубеж.
