El Dólar estadounidense gana frente al Peso chileno, cotizando actualmente en 941.75. El Índice del Dólar (DXY) retrocede un 0.29% en el día, operando al momento de escribir sobre 100.79. El precio del cobre cae un 0.71% diario, llegando a mínimos del 9 de mayo en 4.5524$ por libra. Las ventas minoristas de EE.UU. suben un 0.1% en abril, ligeramente por encima de las previsiones de los analistas. El presidente de la Reserva Federal, Jerome Powell, señaló que se están considerando revisiones a las comunicaciones del Banco Central. El USD/CLP estableció un mínimo diario en 936.85, donde encontró compradores que impulsaron la paridad a un máximo del día en 942.79. En estos momentos, el USD/CLP sube un 0.01%, operando sobre 941.28. El Peso chileno opera sin cambios significativos tras datos clave de Estados Unidos Con base en información proporcionada por la Oficina del Censo de Estados Unidos, las ventas minoristas aumentaron un 0.1% en abril, esta cifra es posterior al 1.5% observado en el periodo anterior y ligeramente superior a la estimación plana de los analistas. Por otro lado, las solicitudes semanales de subsidio por desempleo permanecieron sin cambios en 229.000 en la semana que concluyó el 10 de mayo, cumpliendo con las proyecciones del consenso. La Oficina de Estadísticas Laborales de EE.UU. anunció que el índice de precios de producción aumentó un 2.4% anualizado en abril, situándose por debajo del 2.5% estimado y del incremento registrado en marzo del 2.7%. Tras estas noticias, el Índice del Dólar (DXY) cae un 0.29% el día de hoy, consolidándose dentro del rango operativo de la sesión previa en 100.79. Los precios del cobre retroceden un 0.71% en la jornada del jueves, alcanzando mínimos del 9 de mayo en 4.5148$ por libra. En este contexto, el Peso chileno avanza marginalmente un 0.01% el día de hoy, cotizando al momento de escribir en 941.28.
