Selon Businesswire, Payward, la société mère de Kraken, a annoncé avoir reçu une approbation préliminaire pour des licences de courtage, d'investissement et de gestion accordées par la Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), et étendra ses activités de cryptomonnaies aux EAU. Payward prévoit de proposer des services de trading au comptant, sur marge et OTC, des services de staking et les services Kraken Prime aux clients institutionnels via une entité réglementée localement, ainsi qu'un support pour la fonctionnalité de transfert d'actifs cryptographiques en peer-to-peer.
