233 New Tokens Issued in El Salvador in 2026

The digital asset market in El Salvador recorded 233 new tokens in 2026, according to the National Digital Assets Commission (CNAD). The activity was concentrated between July and August, with 182 authorized registrations, representing 78.1% of all approvals for the year. In the first half of the year, 51 issuance licenses were granted. Of the tokens, 198 correspond to digital representations of equity and indexed products, allowing investors to access shares of companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and JPMorgan Chase. It also included consumer goods firms such as Walmart and Netflix, as well as digital versions of indices like the S&P 500. The registrations were managed by firms such as MIO 3 MARKETS 1, Monetae Securities, and NexBridge Digital Financial Solutions. Additionally, 35 issuances from local corporations were formalized, including entities like Banco Industrial El Salvador and SAC MultiMoney, backed by authorized providers.
