The founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, has refuted criticism suggesting he should be excluded from the ecosystem, demanding a pathway for ADA to reach new all-time highs. The controversy began following a post by DexHunter, where some critics argued that Hoskinson should step back from Cardano and the Cardano Native Token (CNT) ecosystem. Hoskinson challenged his critics to provide specific alternatives to his role and questioned what he currently controls within the Cardano ecosystem. ADA has fallen 92.9% from its all-time high of $3.09 recorded on September 1, 2021, now trading at $0.2179. While critics argue that he should be held accountable for the network's development pace and market performance, Hoskinson views ADA's downturn as a temporary setback. He has identified the Lace upgrade for scalability improvements and governance system enhancements as key priorities, although no new policies or timelines have been announced. The future direction of ADA depends not only on Hoskinson's influence but also on the progress of Lace development and ecosystem expansion.
