Analyst: BTC Long-Term Holders' Exchange Inflows Cool Down, Market Becomes More Rational
Cryptocurrency analyst Darkfost stated that the exchange inflows of long-term holders (LTH) of BTC indicate that during the market peak in March 2024, LTH activity was high, with daily exchange inflows exceeding the annual average by more than five times at one point. In contrast, during the peak in 2025, LTH activity was relatively calm, followed by the onset of a bear market, during which their activity significantly increased, with daily BTC exchange inflows rising from about 600 to around 1000. As the market approached the bottom of the bear market, some trading days saw inflows far exceeding the annual average, reflecting an increase in losses realized by high-position buyers. Darkfost pointed out that currently, LTH-related activities are gradually cooling down, with exchange inflows significantly below the annual average, indicating that market behavior is becoming more rational.
