Anthropic Co-Founder Warns AI Could Drive US GDP to $44 Trillion
Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark warned that artificial intelligence could drive the US GDP from about $30 trillion to $44 trillion, but humanity has only a few years to establish effective safety mechanisms to ensure that AI does not exceed human control. Jack Clark also mentioned that AI could trigger a so-called "singularity" and called for the establishment of global rules to prevent AI from being misused in biological research and the development of cyber weapons. Additionally, reports indicate that Anthropic plans to go public in November, with the company's valuation potentially reaching $200 billion.
