Arthur Hayes: AI Prioritization Will Lead to Liquidity Release, Benefiting Risk Assets

On September 13, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, stated that once the demand for AI computing power is disrupted, it will ultimately rely on money printing to sustain itself. The current "AI safety first" approach has two paths: one is for the U.S. government to take over Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceX, continuing as a major buyer of computing power to maintain data center and chip orders; the other is the disappearance of these buyers, leading to a debt crisis related to AI, putting pressure on insurance companies, and ultimately resulting in the Federal Reserve printing money to bail out the insurance companies. Arthur Hayes believes that regardless of which path is chosen, it will ultimately lead to money printing, liquidity will be released, and risk assets will benefit.
