Baidu Group to Dual-List on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and NASDAQ Starting September 1, 2026

Baidu Group announced that starting September 1, 2026, it will achieve a dual primary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and NASDAQ, converting its current secondary listing status to a primary listing. The stock designation "S" will be removed from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's HKD and RMB counters from September 1, 2026, following the conversion. Previously, Baidu was only a secondary listing in Hong Kong, relying on the main market of NASDAQ in the United States, and did not meet the criteria for inclusion in the "Stock Connect" program, which restricted direct investment from mainland investors. Obtaining Stock Connect eligibility will enhance the liquidity of the company's securities, expand the investor base, and provide greater flexibility for entering both capital markets.
