Bitcoin options market shows muted put demand amid weakness

Bitcoin is experiencing weakness, yet the options market has not indicated a strong positioning for a significant sell-off. Traders are not aggressively purchasing protective put options. The seven-day skew for BTC, indicating the price gap between put and call options, has recently declined, but put options are not trading at historically significant premiums. 10x Research noted a rise in put demand, but it remains uncertain whether this is due to short-term hedging or a broader market shift. Bitcoin's implied volatility is near cycle lows, while realized volatility is higher, indicating that some options are still priced relatively low. Technically, the key support level to watch is 82813. Holding this level could allow for further gains, while a break below may signal a deeper correction.
