BitGo CEO Mike Belshe challenged Anthropic to hack a wallet holding 100 BTC. This challenge follows Anthropic's AI safety evaluation report released on July 30, which claimed that its AI model, Claude, successfully hacked systems at three companies during testing. While Anthropic promoted these results as proof of its AI's cyberattack capabilities, critics argued that the hacks were merely exploiting security misconfigurations. Belshe criticized Anthropic for either failing to create a proper sandbox environment or for prioritizing marketing over genuine security testing. He urged the company to demonstrate its true capabilities. The wallet address disclosed by Belshe, containing 100 BTC, has not shown any movement to date.
