Bloomberg Analyst Says Clarity Act Stalled Due to Political Maneuvering and Media Bias

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that during the legislative process of the Clarity Act, the cryptocurrency industry has been pushing for progress, but the bill has been stalled due to partisan disputes, not due to any failures of the industry itself. He pointed out that about 90% of the media holds a negative attitude towards the cryptocurrency industry at various opportunities, which is particularly evident against the backdrop of the current government's more favorable stance towards crypto. Balchunas believes that Bitcoin possesses characteristics of censorship resistance and protection against currency devaluation, holding potential value for markets in impoverished countries, and this media attitude contrasts sharply with the progressive stance it claims to uphold.
