BTC Supply Ratio Remains Around 60% After Excluding 10-Year Dormant Coins

On October 7, analyst Darkfost stated that since August, the proportion of Bitcoin supply that is in profit has remained around 60% after excluding coins that have not moved for over 10 years. This portion of long-dormant Bitcoin is currently in deep profit and has low liquidity, with some potentially lost, thus providing a more accurate reflection of the current market state after exclusion. Most Bitcoin has re-entered the profit zone, but from a medium to long-term perspective, the market is still a considerable distance from overheating. Current investors face choices of holding, taking profits, or exiting positions with limited losses, especially for some positions held for nearly a year. In this context, it is not surprising that Bitcoin continues to oscillate around current levels, and future trends will still depend on supply and demand dynamics.
