Circle's EURC Hits Activity Records Thanks to MiCA

The EURC stablecoin from Circle has recorded 1,760 active addresses per day and 713 new wallets created daily, marking historic figures in four years, thanks to the MiCA regulation. This regulation excludes non-compliant stablecoins, making EURC the legal solution in Europe. The growth of EURC is driven by real demand, proving that regulation can structure innovation. In contrast, Tether (USDT), the global leader in stablecoins with over $100 billion in circulation, is now excluded from crypto exchange platforms in Europe due to its non-compliance. Tether is seeking to obtain a MiCA license to return to the European market, promising fierce competition with Circle. Currently, Circle enjoys a strategic advantage, but the reliance on a single player raises questions about security and decentralization in the European ecosystem.
