Coinbase launches digital credit strategy CUSHY, introducing a tokenized share structure

Coinbase Asset Management (CBAM) announced the launch of the digital credit strategy CUSHY and introduced a tokenized share class mechanism to connect the traditional credit market with the on-chain financial system. This strategy focuses on three main areas: on-chain high liquidity public credit assets, structured private credit for digital native and traditional borrowers, and structured yield sources that combine tokenization and protocol incentives. It is built on Superstate's FundOS tokenization platform, achieving on-chain representation of fund shares and 24/7 trading capabilities, and supports operation across multiple networks such as Ethereum, Solana, and Base.
