Binance founder Changpeng Zhao denied allegations of improper dealings involving World Liberty Financial, a DeFi project linked to the Trump family. Zhao refuted a Wall Street Journal report claiming Binance requested Abu Dhabi investment firm MGX to use World Liberty Financial stablecoin USD1 for its investment payment. He stated that MGX independently decided on the payment method, emphasizing the importance of using a reputable stablecoin. Zhao asserted there was nothing improper in the dealings. Regarding President Donald Trump’s pardon, Zhao mentioned that his lawyers kept him updated on the process, but he described it as a 'black box.' He also addressed Forbes' estimation of his wealth, stating it was overstated at over 100 billion, and clarified his actual net worth is between 10 billion and 30 billion.
